This is Shanshan Xi, the founder and head teacher of Shanshan Bilingual Childcare. I have been working with toddlers for more than 11 years. Before opening my own family daycare, I worked in a Mandarin immersion Montessori school as a lead guide for several years. I love working with children and learn continuously in Early Childhood Education to become a better teacher. I earned a preschool teacher permit in 2015. Before I came to the United States, I got my Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Linguistics and Literature, held the certificate of Standard Mandarin Pronunciation, and had been a Mandarin teacher in an elementary school for 9 years in Wuhan. I love music and art, and enjoy singing and drawing. I believe all my experience and training, my hobbies and love in early childhood education give me the unique capability to provide high-quality care for young children.

Through our programs in arts, music, movement, language, mathematics, and outside play, which are built into our everyday schedule, the needs of your child in playing-and-learning are accommodated, and their physical, emotional, and intellectual growth is facilitated. We aim to build an environment where good character with social awareness, independence, and self-confidence can be encouraged to develop.
